I recommend clicking the Play button on that video. It explains the image that you see underneath it. Basically, this total lunar eclipse is centered on the North American continent. Everybody in Mexico, USA (continental), and Canada will get a good show tomorrow night. Plus, some people on the western side of the South American continent will see it. I certainly plan to take a look tomorrow night, although I may have to set my alarm to wake me up at the appropriate hour.

Quite separately, a new documentary made its debut at SXSW a few days ago, a film named "The Age of Disclosure". It should reach streaming platforms quickly, but you can see the official trailer on YouTube now. The documentary includes testimony of many government officials, including Jay Stratton, a former Defense Intelligence Agency official and the first director of the U.S. government’s UAP Task Force. In this documentary, Jay Stratton says the following:

"I have seen with my own eyes nonhuman craft and nonhuman beings."

So... there you go. Enjoy the night skies this week.

I went outside several times to look at the eclipse here and took some photos. It was very nice.

I watched it too, and it was indeed a beautiful view. It was very unusually warm in Minneapolis for mid-March, so I spent more time outdoors at night than expected. I tried many times to take a photo with my Pixel phone, but they all came out terrible. It was only after totality arrived that anything resembling an eclipse became visible on my phone.



Just as totality arrived, the security lights of the neighbor behind me turned on after previously being at a much lower level. I hadn't heard anyone else in the alley, so I figured either they were coming out to watch the eclipse too, or they got nervous seeing a shadowy figure on the porch at the house behind them. Nobody came out, and I got slightly annoyed at the diminished view of the lunar eclipse. Then I started hearing strange sounds in my own back yard. I saw the profile of an animal climbing a neighbors tree in my back yard. It was much too large to be a squirrel, so I assumed it was the raccoons that I was finally witnessing. I managed to catch this night-mode picture in my camera. The bandit's figure is in the center of the screen, on the tree trunk with the profile crossing the view of the eaves of the neighbor's garage.
