I just came from a nice, quiet suburb back to the #WarzoneInMinneapolis.  It's crazy out there.  Be safe.



The mid-term election is coming.  We can dehumanize without dislike, so remember that insight before dismissing criticisms about policies.  Racism makes it easier to identify inhumane policies, but the racism really isn't required.

The fireworks had started by the time I got back from dropping Todd off, so it's less quiet now. Still much quieter than it was even in Columbia Heights, though.

I had trouble getting Dominic into the car because of the fireworks as we headed out to your place. It was much worse a few hours later when we tried to get back into the house. He's not going to pee tonight, because he refuses to go through the door again. And Hope is in worse shape upstairs. I want brick siding on the house to help muffle the noise (and useful to block any stray bullets too).

Seriously, there is no 5-second gap in the noise. For the last hour, and it'll continue for a few more.
