national recall of magnesium citrate

In yet another indication of capitalism's strong preference for efficiency versus resilience, I discovered yesterday that basically there is no magnesium citrate available in the USA.  It's all been recalled by its sole manufacturer.  It seems to affect every major pharmacy chain.  I'm not sure when store shelves will be restocked.  If there's a second manufacturer somewhere, I don't know where their product is sold.

In unrelated news, my allergies are kicking me hard this week.  I'm back on all 3 antihistamines again, which keeps me a bit loopy.  But with these drugs I can still breathe through both nostrils, which means my sinuses are not blocked off and developing infection and a high temperature requiring antibiotics to eliminate.  (That's what my life was like for years in Austin Texas until my first sinus surgery in 1998.)

At least my eyes are almost fully recovered from the THC gummy experiment.  I'm not using the eye drops any more.  There's just one sore spot remaining, at the outer edge of my left eye, which was most irritated by the sandpaper non-tears.

Does this include Swisse Ultiboost Magnesium tablets (which are magnesium citrate) ?

I didn't know it came in a "dry" form. I've always used the liquid. Looks like that product is not produced by Vi-Jon LLC, so it's not part of the recall. I'll check around to see if there's someplace in the USA I can buy some.

If you're still looking, I get magnesium citrate tablets from Puritan's Pride, which has been a reliable supplier for some years now.
