Have you been able to order anything at all from the CVS.com or Walgreens.com websites recently?

I just checked my order history at Walgreens, and I haven't been able to order for 2 years. Generic error message, telling me to try again later. But later never works either.

I can't even login at CVS. Several weeks ago, I could login successfully, but their site was giving me exactly the same error as Walgreens.

Normally, capitalism has the "give us money" phase worked out smoothly. Is anyone else having trouble with those 2 companies?

I guess I always go in person when patronizing those two businesses. I was really dismayed recently, however, by a terrible new shopping interface for a tea company I used to order from. Late-stage capitalism problems, maybe?

That could very well be part of it. If so, wow, AI is even worse at web design than the prior "out of the box" approaches!

I don't have a Walgreens account.
I was having a problem logging into CVS.com for a while but your problem sounds different. I would enter my email address, then enter the 2FA code that was emailed or texted to me (per my notes, they no longer prompt for a password). Then the site would prompt me to enter my DOB, and that's what my problem was - it kept saying the date I entered was wrong. 3 weeks ago I finally figured out what date was in their system, and was able to log in.

Do you have a browser extension that might be interfering? If not, maybe you could try creating a new account with a different email address.

Re-reading your post, I see now that your problem isn't with logging in but placing the order. Because of the login problem, I wasn't able to place an order the last time I wanted to, and I haven't tried since then. So I don't know if I would get the same problem as you or not.

Re-reading your post again.. if your current login problem is with the DOB, IM me and I'll tell you what date finally worked for me. It might be what the DOB defaults to when it was never entered to begin with, but I'm not sure.

That might help for CVS too. If not, you might try a different payment method if you have one. But calling may be best.
I still need to find a way around a similar problem I was having on some other websites; didn't try the different payment method yet.
