... could you try this link to see if you actually get a proper video stream? It's supposed to be a speech by Dr. David Suzuki, keynote speaker at a conference on the environment and the economy, but all I get is a repeating intro segment. I'm wondering if it's region-locked so only canadian ip addresses are permitted to view it. *grrrrr*

If you can actually see it, I'd be very appreciative if you could find a way to make it available to me.  :)

Saw it

I could see the whole video, I think you have a problem of video streaming, You may have to update your player. I looked for it in YouTube but it has not been uploaded there. However, I found several interviews with D. Suzuki there. I examined the page to find a way to make it accessible to you but it doesn't show a way, sorry. I would think of something! Hugs, L.

Good! The content is good. Worrysome but also encouraging. Btw, I'll be "starring" in David Suzuki tv series "The Nature of Things" on Nov 20 in a documentary about the "Lost People of Baja".

Hope you'll get a good night sleep abyway! Sweet dreams, Luis. :o)

Haha oh well, it is a good tv series. He doesn´t appear on each episode anymore like it was in the beginning, he changed the format to a kind of documentray one where he relies on specialists of different fields to do the talking in the form of q&a, comments or interviews. This episode is about extinct human groups and the role of molecular biology on detecting their ancient genetic lines in moder people who has inherited them. I sculpted a face restoration of a Pericú woman on an ancient skull model for the episode. Then I did learn that I carry Pericú genes myself! lol I hope you will be able to see it. Big Hugs, Luis.

Hmm

I'm using Safari on OSX and it plays, tho I'm also using the Flip4Mac plug in that puts windows grade codecs into Quicktime. It's rather strange that it wont work in FF for you, I think

I'm in Tennessee, and was able to see it without any problems with Firefox. Might go update the player, it needs either Windows Media Player Versions 9,10, or 11 to view it.
